Even though he waited all morning for it to ring, he was hesitant to answer it. Blowing out a long breath he closed his eyes. When Det. Black was ready, he signalled for him to pick up the phone and he did.

“Hello.” He whispered.

“I see you got my present… I hope I won’t need to start sending other things like… I don’t know… a finger maybe.” The person said into the phone.

“No! No of course not. I’m listening.” Aaron said.

“Ok… listen up.”

An hour later and Aaron was at the bank taking out fifty thousand dollars. Just like the caller instructed, he went over to the payphone opposite the bank. As he was secretly instructed by the cops, Aaron knew what he needed to do and say. Suddenly the payphone began to ring. Setting down the case full of money, Aaron answered the phone.
